El solfeo y el entrenamiento auditivo es una destreza utilizada por músicos para identificar altura, intervalos, melodía, acordes, ritmos, y otros elementos básicos de la música tan solo al escucharlos. La aplicación de esta destreza comparte similitudes con el dictado en el lenguaje escrito y hablado.

La participación en las clases de formación coral permite la compenetración musical en cuanto a la entonación, afinación, ritmo, timbres y color de las voces. Así mismo contribuye a tomar conciencia de la diferencia de registro entre voces, la búsqueda de un canto afinado, el trabajo de la memoria ritmo – auditiva y la sociabilización y de camaradería.

Los estudiantes trabajan de manera grupal de acuerdo a su nivel para la formación de una banda musical. En ella realizan el montaje de canciones de su gusto, fortaleciendo su instrumento principal y puesta en escena.

La percusión corporal es una disciplina que crea sonidos y ritmos usando únicamente partes del cuerpo. Proporciona una experiencia directa en ritmo, tempo y métrica.
